Anouk A Brumfield​ | IBM

Born in Shreveport,  Louisiana, Anouk Brumfield has 30+ years of consulting experience. She currently works as a VP/Senior Partner for IBM, where she is responsible for the global strategy, organization, and business performance of Blockchain Services.

She has a degree in accounting from Dillard University, although she has worked for multiple industries and performed in different capacities. In 1999,  she worked at BP as account manager and has more than 6 years of experience in Blockchain by working in blockchain Services for IBM since 2017, a group she helped to start up.

After working for three centuries, Anouk brings inspiration to women in the business field by mentoring, coaching and being a motivational speaker about entrepreneurship and strategy. She believes that leaders should focus on their employees, having positive outlooks,  and getting the job done efficiently from beginning to end without micromanaging, and leading by example.  She has been sharing her time, knowledge, and expertise with colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations.

In her work in Blockchain Services for IBM, she must partner with client and industry leaders, global consortia, and venture firms. She is also known for driving global business and start-ups in a profitable and efficient manner by building powered teams whose positive results are recognized by analysts as market-leading and market-making.

She likes to set short-term and long term-goals that go according to her values, striving always to be the best version of herself. She encourages other people to be true to their real self to assure a diverse and inclusive environment. For her, success means helping others. She is grateful for all those who have helped her along her journery. It is like a cycle of support, help, encourgement, and tenacity.
