Students will read Plato’s EUTHYPHRO, APOLOGY OF SOCRATES, and CRITO,
and write brief accounts of each (five pages maximum) to include the following:


 


1. Who are the main personae of the dialogue?


2. How are the characters related to one another?


3. Where does the dialogue take place?


4. Why is the setting significant to understanding the importance of
the discussion?


5. What are the main topics of the dialogue (you may be brief, but give
examples)?


6. What are the main important arguments which the characters use?


7. What do you think Plato wants his readers to conclude from the dialogue?

Euthyphro paper: October 27.


Apology Paper: November 10.


Crito Paper: December 3..
