Electra

The Greek Tragedy Electra (Sophocles, modernized) will
show at 8:00 PM three nights only, in Kimpel Hall 404, Thursday, Friday,
and Saturday: December 5, 6, and 7.

Directed by MFA graduate student Morgan Hicks.,the performances are free
and open to students and faculty. If you are a student of the ancient world,
of drama, or the complications of matricide and oracle obedience, do come
and share the catharsis of pity and fear.

For extra credit in this class, type up a report of your experience,
and analyze one word’s etymology relating to the play. Hand in the report
by Tuesday, December 10th, at 4:30 PM, to Kimpel Hall 502.
