ENCLOTHE is an annual student-led fashion show that showcases garments made by our own University of Arkansas student designers. The show would not be possible though without an outstanding, dedicated, and respected team of directors.
CREATIVE
Creative Producer: Mia Freedman
“Hi, my name is Mia Freedman and I am a Junior Apparel Merchandising and Product Development Major from Coppell, Texas. I am this year’s Creative Producer for the ENCLOTHE Fashion Show. I oversee both the Aesthetic and Collaborator Committees and am honored to play a role in shaping a visually appealing and cohesive show while fostering collaboration between the designers visions and the overall experience of the show. This has been an incredible experience thus far, and I am beyond excited to see all of the many creations come to life.”
Aesthetic Director: David Clark
“Hi, I’m David Clark, a Senior at the University of Arkansas, majoring in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development. Currently, I’m serving as President of the Fashion Apparel Board and diving into my second year of working on the Enclothe show. In my role as Aesthetics Director, I’m in charge of setting the vibe for the show – everything from themes to decor to runway. I’m excited to showcase the incredible work our students have been putting in, both inside and outside the classroom.”
Collaborator Director: Caroline Horne
“My name is Caroline Horne and I’m a junior AMPD major and Marketing minor from Little Rock, AR. I’m the Director of the Collaboration Committee which focuses on designer relationships, model relations, and cross-campus collaborations. My team and I have been supporting our designers by making each garment’s story be heard, making all models feel a sense of inclusivity, and diversity throughout the show. We also partner with other cross-campus organizations to highlight multiple areas of the University of Arkansas at our event! I’m so excited for everyone to come together to celebrate the art of fashion and the talent of our students!”
ENGAGEMENT
Engagement Producer: Siana King
“My name is Siana King and I’m a junior AMPD major with a minor in Journalism and Strategic Media. I’m serving as the Engagement Producer for Enclothe this year, so I oversee and work with both Archive and Outreach committees. I strive to ensure that we are creating content that accurately portrays what Enclothe is while marketing the show effectively and creatively. It’s been amazing to play an integral part in such a big production and I’m excited to see it come together.“
Archive Director: Kadence Trosper
“Hi! I am a junior AMPD major with a minor in Journalism. As the Archive Director for ENCLOTHE 2024, I oversee the legacy and documentation of the show, focusing on the vital aspects of preserving the fashion show’s history and ensuring its enduring impact. This role focuses on encompassing alumni relations, behind-the-scenes records, and documentation of the production process. This includes all accessible media, such as photographs, videos, and written records to capture the essence of the fashion. I am thrilled to be taking on this role, as I have the best team behind me working to make this show come alive, not only in person but through photographs as well. “
Outreach Director: Caroline Spendio
“My name is Caroline Spendio and I’m a junior AMPD major and Psychology minor. I am the current Fashion Apparel Board Alumni Director as well as a member of Chi Omega. I am the Outreach Director for ENCLOTHE 2024 and am honored to lead our efforts in forging partnerships for ENCLOTHE along with managing all aspects of social media and marketing initiatives. My responsibilities include spearheading the outreach committee’s endeavors in content creation, fostering external collaborations, and overseeing social media management. This experience has been incredibly rewarding thus far, and I am grateful for the invaluable lessons I continue to learn from my peers.”
LOGISTICS
Logistics Producer: Maya Lester
“My name is Maya Lester and I am a senior Apparel Merchandising and Product Development Major with a minor in Japanese. I am the Logistics Producer for this year’s Enclothe fashion show. I oversee both the Venue and Program committee to make sure we have everything we need from decorations to program layout. I’m beyond excited to not only have a leadership position within Enclothe but to also showcase a couple of my designs as well!“
Venue Director: Celeste Falgoust
“I am Celeste, a senior AMPD major! As the venue committee, our team takes charge of all aspects related to the fashion show venue. This includes collaborating closely with the chosen venue to ensure it aligns perfectly with Enclothe’s vision. We meticulously manage the layout, ensuring optimal flow and presentation. From coordinating technical requirements to attending to the finest details, our goal is to create an environment where Enclothe can flourish.”
