Mojtaba Abolhassani

Mojtaba has received his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) in 2007. During his undergraduate studies he had worked on Solid Mechanics and Design, building the test section of wind tunnel of IUT. He obtained his Master’s in the same area from the Iran University of science and technology in 2010. After some years of teaching and working in industry, he decided to proceed his graduate studies at the University of Arkansas. In 2015 he started his second Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering working on functionalized graphene-palladium hydrogen sensors. In 2016, he has joined Dr. GreenLee’s Lab as her first graduate student and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Since then, he has worked on different projects addressing Carbon-based material and their applications in water and wastewater treatments.
