The HiDEC Electrical Characterization Laboratory (sometimes called the “Measurements Lab”) is home to tools used to electrically test and characterize devices. Some of the instruments available include a dual flying head prober (capable of double-sided probing), an impedance analyzer, network analyzers, oscillocopes, and a semiconductor parameter analyzer. Many instruments are GPIB-capable and have Python libraries available to extract raw data from the instrument.

Training and certification can be scheduled by contacting the primary lab manager.
