The representation of women throughout the course has varied greatly. There are moments when women are treated as only mothers and wives, complacent or not, in main roles or supporting. On the other hand, there are some examples of women actively participating in organized crime activity. Reflect on the role(s) of women in organized crime films. Feel free to make comparisons with representations of Italian American women in general and/or in American organized crime films. Use specific SCENES of the films to evidence your argument.
