Last month we looked at the frieze groups, the collection of symmetries of an infinitely long strip. This month we’ll expand on those ideas to look into the wallpaper groups, the collections of symmetries of a complete, infinite 2 dimensional sheet. These are closely related to infinite tessellations of the plane. If you missed last month, we won’t hold it against you 😉 and we won’t assume you know what we discussed. Come see what you missed!
