The next meeting of the Fayetteville Math Circle will be Saturday, October 3rd at 2pm. There is again a conflict with the library so we’ll be meeting at the U of A.
This month we’re discussing modular arithmetic. Modular arithmetic is a foundational idea in mathematics and it’s at the root of many ideas in cryptography and number theory. (You might have heard about this as “clock arithmetic.”)
