Our research focuses on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials with multifunctions for biological and environmental applications. Specifically, we will develop new wet chemical methods to synthesize nanomaterials with well-controlled size, shape and composition. For biomedical applications, we will emphasize on drug delivery using these nanomaterials through exploration of their bioconjugation, stability, as well as cellular interactions.
