This August the Office of Special Programs, the office that oversees the PAPSS Program has merged with Sponsored Student Programs and Custom & Short Term Programs to become the Office of Sponsored Students and Special Programs (SSSP).  This new unit will be lead by the current director of Sponsored Programs, Gloria Flores Passmore.

Here is some more information about our new Director, Gloria Flores-Passmore:

Gloria Flores Passmore currently serves as the Director of Sponsored Students and Special Programs at the University of Arkansas.  She is responsible for coordinating an office that serves sponsored students who are funded by foreign governments, the U.S. government, domestic and international agencies, private companies, and corporations to co-administering their grants.  She has had experience in presenting topics related to working with diversity initiatives and populations in higher education.  She has worked in higher education in a variety of capacities including international education, multicultural/diversity issues, academic advising, programming, student housing, and student affairs for over 30 years.  She has also worked at the University of Kansas, Texas A&M University and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  She earned a BA in Spanish with a minor in Business from the University of Central Arkansas and a MS in Higher Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  She is married and lives in Rogers, Arkansas.
