- In bryophytes (mosses), the absence of conducting vessels does not allow them to reach high heights.
- Gymnosperms are flowering and ovule plants.

- Leaf shape distinguishes angiosperms.
- The nature of the fruit is taken into account in the classification of seed plants.
- In flowering plants, the characteristics of pollen grains are not taken into account in the current plant classification. Cryptogams’ plants include Algae, Mushrooms, and also Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, and Lichens.
- Tracheophytes are vascularized plants.
- Bryophytes do not have roots.
