  • The distance of that part of the earth from the sun, is caused by the earth moving around the sun.
  • The way in which the earth revolves so that at different times of the year the different regions of the world are at different distances from the sun, creating different seasons.
  • The seasons are caused by the rotation of the earth and airflow streams like the jet stream.
