UA Bike to Work Week
May 12 – 18, 2013
The Bicycle Coalition of the Ozark’s “Bike to Work Week” kicks off on Friday May 10, 2013 with the Mayoral Proclamation and Bike Ride.
The challenge takes place May 12-18, 2013.
The Office for Sustainability encourages faculty and staff to take part in the challenge.

Individual Registration
You can register by filling out the information below. You will receive an email with further directions after registration.

Team Registration
You will need only one team captain who will serve as the point of contact for your office or department.

Register your bicycle
You’ve registered for the challenge, now register your bike for the campus!
You will help improve bicycle infrastructure for the University of Arkansas. Bike loops, racks and pumps are installed as the demand grows. Demand is determined by the number of registered bikes on campus. So, the more bikes registered, the better the infrastructure will be to support cyclists.
Your bike will also be easily traced if it is ever stolen.
You can easily register your bike at several different locations across campus:
- Arkansas Union Card Office
- Parking and Transit office on Razorback Road
- The Office for Sustainability, located at 238 Harmon Avenue

Bike Fix-it Stations
Two Dero Bike-fix it stations will be installed on our campus in the Month of May. These stations are popular for basic bike repair and include a stand, a set of standard tools and a bike pump.
