In addition to catering for us, Eureka Pizza’s going to be hosting a table about their solar powered location during the event. While you’re there to enjoy the free food, check out the library’s Special Collections’ hosted table about the History of Earth Day, find out about volunteer opportunities, see cool demos from the CSES Club, Sustainable Urban Mobility, the Green Center, and get free stuff from Native Expeditions, Ozark’s Water Watch, RIC, and many more!
We’re going to be hosting an Earth Day pledge table raffle; drop by and fill out an Earth Day pledge card for a chance to win an OFS gift basket, with cool stuff donated to us by Ozark Natural Foods and The University Bookstore! The bookstore is hosting it’s own Earth Day event at its Garland Ave. location, so go check them out, too! Also, you won’t want to miss Mayor Lionel Jordan giving his Earth Day proclamation at 12:30.
So remember to come join us for Earth Day at the Earth Day Vendor Fair on the Union Mall, Tuesday April 22nd, 10:00am-2:00pm. And later that night, be sure to come to the Union Theatre at 7:00pm to catch the screening of Carl Hitt’s documentary “Hawks of Wilson Park.”
