Tips for Use
- High-efficiency washers require concentrated detergent that is formulated to clean with less water and produce fewer suds than normal detergent — leaving no residue on clothes.
- Most major laundry detergent manufacturers offer high-efficiency products, and they’re clearly marked with an “HE” label. Detergents can be dry or wet but make sure to read your owner’s manual for acceptable soaps.
- Don’t use normal washing detergent. It could flood the machine because HE washers use less water.
- Read the manual and use the settings to properly handle the laundry load for max efficiency.
- Keep the door of front-loading washers open so that excess water can evaporate. and remove clothes promptly after the wash cycle is finished. This will prevent mold from developing.
How do you use it?
It’s just like any other washer…but different.
- Put in the HE detergent–wherever that specific machine requires it, put in the clothes, customize settings, start the wash. Be mindful to not interrupt the sensing cycle.
- Depends on the machine. Make sure to read your owner’s manual.
