may is bike monthMay is National Bike Month, and there is no better way to celebrate than to get out and ride. The City of Fayetteville is celebrating with multiple bike rides and events throughout the month. Some of our favorites are Bike to School Day (May 4th) and Bike to Work Day (May 20th). This being a university, we get to celebrate both!

If you’re a regular commuter cyclist, you know it’s a way to start and end your day on a high note. However, we understand that many people have a wide range of concerns keeping them from giving it a try. The League of American Cyclists, the sponsor of National Bike Month, understands too. That’s why they put together suggestions for just about any reason you could have for not giving it a try.

Keep the conversation going! Get a friend to ride with you, brag about your commute, or tell us why you ride! Tips, questions, and selfies are all encouraged (protip: never take a selfie on a moving bicycle).
