Recycling Volunteers Needed for University Housing Move-In

The Office for Sustainability is teaming up with University Housing to ramp up recycling efforts during Move-In Day at the residence halls! We need volunteers for a variety of time slots between Thursday, August 13^th and Monday, August 17^th to help ensure all recyclables end up in the right place. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to engage with students to spread the word about recycling on campus and will be setting a good example for our incoming Razorbacks!

All cans and bottles collected during move-in will be directed to the Pepsi Dream Machine program, which translates to dollars for veteran entrepreneurs.

If you are taking SUST 2103 this fall, helping with move-in recycling is also a way to knock out part of your service hours requirement before classes even start! Just join the SUST 2103 Class and select that as your affiliation when you register. Email cmgronen@uark.edu if you have trouble doing this.
