The OCS crunched the energy use of the 23 campus residence halls and the numbers are in!  We took into consideration electricity, water, chilled water and steam consumption.  We assigned carbon in metric tons (MTCO2) of output per category, divided by number of students per resident hall, and assigned each student a personal carbon emissions number.

This graph represents the annual MTCO2 per student during the 2010 academic school year.  If you are a student living on-campus and would like to participate int he no-impact competition, please visit sustainability.uark.edu and look for the No Impact Competition section on the home page.
