The Office for Sustainability and the Outdoor Connection Center are excited to be co-hosting the second annual Bike Fest at the University of Arkansas on October 9, 2015. The event will take place from 12:30-3:30 Pm. Bike Fest is aimed at promoting cycling on and around the University of Arkansas campus and encouraging more citizens to think about cycling as an alternative mode of transportation. So grab your bike if you’ve got it and head over to McIlroy Avenue where you can:
Register your bike for free- Get information, advice and tune-ups from the pros
- Compete in a “slow bike race” (last one to finish is the winner)
- Enter a raffle to win a free bike (pictured) and other prizes
- Enjoy free food and beverages
Bike Fest 2015 is one of several events being hosted by the Office for Sustainability and Student Sustainability Club in October as part of national Campus Sustainability Month.
