When in a Blackboard Collaborate session you may experience audio issues. Here you will find ways to resolve most common audio problems within the Collaborate session.

Audio not working?
For speakers or microphones troubles run the Audio Setup Wizard to make sure that the computer’s speakers and microphone are set up correctly.
Go to Tools > Audio > Audio Setup Wizard and follow the directions there.
Microphone still not working?
Is the Talk button (at the bottom of the Audio & Video panel) off?
Turn the Talk button on by clicking on it.
Is the Talk button grayed out?
That means there is only one ‘talker’ allowed (and someone else has their mic on).
Someone with Moderator privileges will need to go to Tools > Audio > Maximum Simultaneous Talkers and increase the number.
