Clickers: Export Grades to Blackboard

If you have not yet transitioned to TurningPoint 8, please follow these directions before proceeding.  TurningPoint Cloud will no longer integrate with Blackboard.

  1. To access the clicker software, insert the Turning Technologies USB receiver into the USB port on your computer.
  2. Open the Turning Technologies drive and double-click the TurningPoint application.
  3. Click on the Manage tab.

  4. Click the name of the Course.
    Click on the name of your course
  5. Click Upload Grades.
    Click on Upload Grades.
  6. A Grade Upload Warning will pop up if any of your students are missing part of their registration.  Click OK.

  7. Click on the box next to each of the sessions that you want to export and click Upload.
    Select the sessions you want to upload and click Upload.
  8. Click Export again.

  9. Click OK.
    Click OK

Each session that you upload will be a new column in the Grade Center of your Blackboard course.  Alternately, you may choose to upload a Total Performance, Total Participation, or Total Points column.  If you choose this option you will be updating that Total column each time you export your grades to Blackboard.
