Creating a Question List

  1. To access the clicker software, insert the Turning Technologies USB receiver into your computer’s USB drive.
  2. Open the Turning Technologies drive and double-click the TurningPoint application.
  3. Click the Content tab.

  4. Click the Content drop-down menu, hover over New, and click Question List.
    Click on Content drop-down, click New, then click Question List
  5. Enter a name for your question list, enter a description (optional), and click Save.
    Enter Title, Description, and click Save
  6. Click the Pencil icon to edit the first question.

  7. Enter the text for your question in the text box.  Click each of the answers and enter text for them. Make any desired changes to the format of the text for your question that you wish.  Remember that what you see on your screen is what will appear during polling.  It’s a good idea to assess the font size for readability at this point.

  8. Scroll down and make changes to the answer settings and point values for correct and incorrect answers in the slide pane on the right side of the application menu.

  9. Click Close.
    Click Close
  10. Click the Question button and then Click Add.

  11. Add all required questions in the same way as listed above.
  12. Click Save and Close.

Running Anywhere Polling with a Question List

  1. To access the clicker software, insert the Turning Technologies USB receiver into your computer’s USB drive.
  2. Open the Turning Technologies drive and double-click the TurningPoint application.
  3. Click the Polling tab.
    Click Polling
  4. Click the name of your question list on the left and select Anywhere Polling.
    Select question list and click Anwhere Polling
  5. Click the triangle-shaped Play button to open polling.

  6. Click the square-shaped Stop button to close polling and display results.
    Select the square to stop polling.
  7. Open and close polling for each question that follows.
  8. When polling is finished, click Options which looks like a gear, hover over Session and click Save Session.
    Select the Settings icon that looks like a gear.

Using the steps above, you can create and run a question list in Anywhere Polling.
