Clickers: Using the PresenterCard with TurningPoint

Features

  • Start/Stop button will start/stop polling.
  • Show/Hide button will hide and show the presentation.
  • Right Arrow button will advance presentation slides.
  • Left Arrow button will go back to presentation slides.
  • Allows users to customize 3 programmable buttons through settings.

Set the Channel

As with student clickers, the Presenter card must be set to the same channel as the instructor’s software.

  1. Press Channel
  2. Move forward or back through the numbers by pressing the Forward and Back buttons until the correct channel number is displayed
  3. Press Channel again

Setting Up the PresenterCard

  1. To access the clicker software, insert the Turning Technologies USB receiver into your computer’s USB drive.
  2. Open the Turning Technologies drive and double-click the TurningPoint Cloud application.
  3. Click the gear icon in the lower right-hand corner of the TurningPoint Cloud dashboard.
    Click on the preferences cog.
  4. Click Connections on the left.
    Click on Connections on the left - the second option
  5. Scroll down to the PresenterCard section and click Change.
    Click on Change next to Presenter Card under the Presenter Card section of the preferences
  6. Make your choices for each of the three programmable buttons, by choosing your preferred option from the drop down menu next to the corresponding Programmable Button #.
    Choose actions for each of the three programmable buttons.
  7. Click Close
    Click on the Close Button
