The images above feature a ten-ton hog head sculpture. It sits just outside the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House.

Orville Roosevelt Skaggs (1909-1998) carved it out of a limestone boulder. His son-in-law Elbert Baker was the director of the U of A’s Experimental Strawberry Substation in Searcy and wanted a Razorback sculpture there. Skaggs made this amazing piece of art as a result. It took four years to carve. Eventually, the Bakers donated the statue to the University and it was placed in its current location today.

The images below feature the William R. & Jo Ella Toller Celebration Tower, also located outside the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. It is lit up and its bell rings for games and special occasions.
