K-12
New policies at the Museum are limiting collection access to better meet the needs of the materials housed there. In response, other outreach opportunities are being developed for K-12 audiences. Check back often to learn more or contact us directly to discuss how we can provide unique learning experiences for your students or Scouts.

Class Fieldtrips to the Collections
**Due to COVID-19, we are testing out virtual tours in lieu of in-person.
The Museum has a new Collections Access Policy in order to balance collections care needs with growing audience interest. Here are the guidelines:
- Four tours per fall, spring, and summer semester (for a total of twelve annually) will be available to educational groups beyond UA (K-12, homeschool, scouts) on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
- The age range and number of people in the group must be provided in advance to adequately prepare the space. Must include at minimum ten people. Tours are only available for 4th grade or older.
- Alternative resources will be developed in order to provide continuing accessibility through online resources and special in-person activities.
Projects and Activities
If you are looking for a unique learning experience for your students, the UA Museum’s vast collection of cultural and natural resources can translate into:
