Outback in the Ozarks Photo and Medal
Diane Smith
I work at the Army ROTC. In the fall of both 2015 and 2016, some cadets and cadre participated in a 2 day relay called Outback in the Ozarks. The relay started at Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs and ended at the Prairie Grove Battlefield Park for a total of 199.8 miles! The longest leg of the relay was 9 miles. I believe the 2015 team placed 2nd! The pictures are part of the team from 2015 and the 2016 medal. I’m always amazed at the accomplishments of our cadets and cadre. They are a testimony of the fact that one can do whatever his/her mind is set to do.
