The Arkansas Disability & Health Program has several health education kits organizations can check out and use.

1. Women Be Healthy – designed to educate women with developmental disabilities on the importance and expectations of breast and cervical cancer screenings.

2. Colorectal Cancer Prep & Screening – designed to educate individuals with developmental disabilities about the importance and expectations of colorectal cancer.

3. Cooking Matters provide a nutrition education program that empowers individuals/families with skills, knowledge and confidence to prepare healthy affordable meals.

4. Diabetes Education educates people with disabilities on understanding diabetes and how it affects your body, including complications, monitoring your body and managing your meds.

5. Feeling Good About Your Smile one 1 ½ hour education provided by Dental Hygienists to teach better oral health for people with disabilities and their caregivers.

6. Walk with Ease Walk a 6 week walking program for people with arthritis. Participants walk and learn more about arthritis, warming up and cooling down exercises and pain management skills.
