Prospective Students

Graduate students interested in population biology and evolution, particularly the genomics of ecology and evolution, should contact me directly. Multiple opportunities are available for graduate research in courtship behavior, cuticular hydrocarbon analyses, host plant adaptation, field ecology, mechanisms of speciation, GxE interactions, genome annotation, and comparative genome analysis.

Applicants gain admission to the Ph.D. program in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Arkansas and should be prepared to compete for a teaching assistantship.  Application information is available by clicking here. Stipend, tuition, and benefits are included.

Supplemental funding is available on a competitive basis for applicants qualifying for Doctoral Fellowships. To apply, please contact me for information and assistance.

I strongly urge all prospective students to carefully read and evaluate Mohamed Noor’s course materials for how to succeed in graduate school.

Postdoctoral opportunities are contingent upon funding. Send me an email and your CV.
