Homework, Due 11:59 pm Monday
- Finish interviews, post them by 11:59 pm Saturday. Post on WordPress and Google Drive.
- Review Materials on Google Drive. Your groups produce an 800-1,000 word story with the material we have.
Group 1: –Flores, Messina, Lyster, Billmyre AND Dobrin,Thomas, Pratt
Write a story focusing on the Hispanic community. I suggest you lead with Valenciana and 95.7 LaZeta as the opening anecdote. This story is narrowly focused on the Hispanic community.
Flores organizes the workload and writes. Dobrin is co-author. Rest of the work distribution is up to your group.
One suggestion: farm out pieces of the assignment to individuals: someone writes the national, state and NW Arkansas data comparisons for Hispanics. Someone is in charge of Census data. Someone finds the right graphic from the work done so far and fits it to this assignment. Someone gets a decent photo of the LaZeta office. Someone edits the audio so far into a short presentation. Someone edits.
Group 2: –Pray, Eley, Ward, AND Trupp, Monk and Ball
Write the Native American story with the data and interviews we have to this point. Eley is lead writer, Monk is co-author.
