How to Duplicate the Layout of an Existing Page

This tutorial will walk you through the steps to duplicate an existing page’s layout and content. This is useful for when you want to keep a consistent layout throughout your site, or for when you want to edit a published page without making permanent changes. In only 4 steps, you will learn how to efficiently clone an existing page’s layout.

Step 1

Begin by creating a new post (or page).

Select “Use The Divi Builder” button.

Step 2

Once you click the Divi Builder button, this screen will appear.

Chose the green tab that says “Clone Existing Page”

Step 3

Here are a few of my existing pages with layouts I can choose to duplicate.

This comes in handy when you have one page that has an amazing layout design, and you want to replicate the design for new content.

Choose an existing page.

Step 4

Now you have the layout duplicated from your existing page onto this new post/page.

You can now edit the information for new content, or you can use this duplicated layout to visualize changes for the existing page.
