WordPress Visual Editor
The WordPress Visual Editor is a great tool since you do not need to have a lot of coding knowledge in order to create a site. Some of its items are and look like other editors. Because of that, only unique items of WordPress Visual Editor will be explained.
1. Toolbar Toggle
The Visual Editor is set up to show only a single row of items. Therefore, if you would like to see more choices, you should click on Toolbar Toggle.
2. Keyboard Shortcuts

3. Distraction Free Mode or Fullscreen
This can help you to focus on your writing without distractions. Also, the editor screen becomes bigger so you can have a better view of what you are writing.
4. Paste as Text
If you are copying text from any other site or document and want to keep your writing style of your post, you should click first on the “Paste as Text” item and then paste that text on your site.
5. Special Characters
There are those times that you will need to add some special characters like copyright, registered, or trademark signs in your post. To access those characters, just click on an item that looks like this sign Ω which represents Special Character list.
6. Switch to HTML Editor
The Visual Editor is great if you prefer to see how your site will look and use keyboard shortcuts. However, if you prefer Text Editor, this is a great way to use or improve your coding skills. Also, sometimes if you are having difficulty with, for example, alignment images, the Text Editor is a fast solution for issues like those.
