Join the University of Arkansas Office for Sustainability and University Programs as we celebrate Earth-centered events, kicking off with the Earth Day Block Party on April 22 at 11 am in the Union Mall. Earth Day is the annual international demonstration of support for environmental protection. Established in 1970, Earth Day is celebrated in 192 countries, so come out and celebrate with us!
This year’s Earth Day Block Party will host several RSO Sustainability Coalition members, including Sierra Student Coalition, Associated Student Government, Net Impact, Horticulture Club, and groups from the community focused on sustainability and environmental protection. The Block Party will feature various giveaways and information on sustainable living as well as sno-cones from Tropical Sno, Insomnia Cookies, henna art, lawn games, and other goods.
