Game Day Challenge Recycling

Last year nearly 83% of all game day waste at Razorback Stadium was diverted from landfills. The University of Arkansas placed 8th in the nation and first in the SEC during the Environmental Protection Agency’s Game Day Challenge. The friendly competition is a great way to advance sustainability measures that directly affect our campus. Help us become the first college in the SEC to reach zero waste by volunteering on game day.

Feed Fayetteville Produce Collection

Each Saturday Feed Fayetteville visits the produce department at the Harps by Mission and Crossover. We collect the produce that has been taken off the shelves, but is still good to eat! We bring the produce to The Salvation Army and weight it. They turn it into beautiful meals for their clients each night. We need two volunteers to help us do these Saturday pickups. We prefer it if you could commit to one Saturday a month.

Please email katie@feedfayetteville.org with any questions & interest in your involvement.

Feed Fayetteville Garden Helpers

We are in need of some helpers out in the garden as the seasons change. This opportunity offers a flexible volunteering schedule. You could come out once or once a week and help our Arkansas GardenCorps member Autumn with her green thumb. Activities may include moving soil, pulling weeds, composting and harvesting.

Please email autumn@feedfayetteville.org with your interest and schedule.
