Naturally, I think Julia’s question of “why are pacific islanders being denied at such a high rate for home loans” should be a key area of research. She also asks if there’s a way to get the income of this racial category, perhaps in comparison to Hispanic/Latino families. I think that knowing more about the incomes and specific financials of the group would give us more insight.

I still believe that understanding more about what races tend to rent for their housing, and where would be of import to this story. Are male citizens more likely to rent a house in Fayetteville (with pretty affordable renting widely available) than female citizens? What can we know about the incomes of Asian citizens to explain their very low rejection rates? Would location of the home applied for or the applicant’s income affect this more?
