The data set titled “2015 Arkansas HMDA” provides a closer look at the rejection rate in the state of Arkansas. The data displayed shows more white individuals seeking loans. The rejection rate is steeper due to credit and various other qualities more than race. The white population in Arkansas is more prominent when seeking loans and approval rates. Where as other races such as Black/African Americans are slower in the process of approvals or rejections.

The data set titled “2015 National HMDA” is the national average and findings when looking at the rejection rates in the United States. The data displayed shows a lot of discrepancies and is an enormous amount to sift through. I found the data to be at times hard to indicate what the overall result would be and keep account of what races that were more accepted when applying for loans.

The data sets given were extremely interesting. It amazed me the lack of information given for certain areas though.
