- How does the NPR pending wait data relate to the new pending wait VA data? Does the NPR data reflect totals for the hospitals or for the VA systems? How do you double check that?
The VA data for the period ending Nov. 1, 2017 provides an update to the NPR data that ended in February. The NPR data reflects the totals for the VA systems and clinics listed in white rows with the sum in the blue row. To double check, I did a SUM function in the Excel sheet to ensure the numbers were totaled correctly.
2. Looking at the record layout of the NPR data, tell me how you efficiently sorted the VA data to extract just these four hospital systems. Post the sorted spreadsheet that reflects just data for Fayetteville, Little Rock, Memphis and Shreveport medical systems and their clinics.
I checked each visn_id number so that when activated the filter, I knew what section to look through to find the cities I wanted to include. AJ pending wait as of 11-1-17
Andrea – Happy to see you are using the Excel tools correctly for fact-checking: ” To double check, I did a SUM function in the Excel sheet to ensure the numbers were totaled correctly.”
Spreadsheet looks right in Question #2 – remember you can strip out the formatting so it reads more easily.
On #3, you didn’t do that correctly. The national data is at the bottom of the spreadsheet. I wanted you to extract just that and create a new spreadsheet from it.
Thanks
