About me: My name is Ginny Monk and I am a senior news/editorial journalism major from Pencil Bluff, Arkansas. I am the editor at The Arkansas Traveler and worked at the Democrat-Gazette as an intern this summer. My favorite story I’ve written was for the DemGaz, and it was a narrative piece about the experience one woman had giving birth while incarcerated at an Arkansas prison.
