- If the FBI does not provide data in a ranked format and discourages the ranking of cities/locales based off of the UCR data, why do publications continue to use the UCR data in listing the most dangerous cities in the United States on an annual basis? What methods do they use? How do they justify using data in a way the FBI discourages?
- Why do they only publish statistics that are the most commonly requested by data users? Who are the data users that request the statistics?
