The VA Choice and Quality Employment Act, signed into law by President Trump in August, promises shorter wait times at VA hospitals (CITE ARTICLE AND DATE). Despite current long wait times, some veterans are hopeful that they soon won’t have to wait so long to see a doctor. The act aims to make improvements in several areas of the VA health care system and includes more than $2 million in funding.
Along with the improvements to veteran wait times, President Trump announced that veterans will be able to schedule appointments using their mobile devices.
