In Bill Dedman’s part three article “A test that few banks fail – in federal eyes,” Dedman examines the role of regulators in unfair lending practices. How did the federal government contribute to the industry’s furthering discrimination and what does this section of reporting add to the overall storytelling?
My name is Isabel Dobrin and I’m a senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma. I’m the managing editor at the Arkansas Traveler, the UofA’s student newspaper. I’ve also worked as the editor-in-chief, news editor and news reporter. I like to travel, run and read. This summer I interned at the Tulsa World, where I dabbled in court, cops and general assignment reporting. One of the stories I’m most proud of is a local reaction piece about the Orlando mass shooting in June.
