HiDEC’s Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC) facility offers multi-layer substrate manufacturing for high-power modules, microwave circuits, and other applications. The facility uses DuPont’s 951 and 9K7 as well as Ferro’s L6 tape systems and pastes.
HiDEC’s Low-Temperature, Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC) occupies the 4,000 sq. ft. space in the building apart from the ENRC complex that houses a complete LTCC fabrication facility. Electronic device packages fabricated in this laboratory can be used in various high-frequency, high-power applications and act as crucial components in many common electronic products.
The lab offers a unique opportunity for student’s research and industrial collaboration associated with Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) processing. HiDEC’s fee-based access to center facilities and hands-on training by its full-time staff helps users to fully leverage lab capabilities.
