Background and Interests
Dr. Matthew Feldner has been licensed as a clinical psychologist in Arkansas since 2007. He initially spent 14 years as a tenured professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Arkansas, where he studied anxiety and stress, supervised clinical care, and taught the ethics, practice, and research of clinical psychology. Recently, he directed a team conducting clinical trials testing the safety and health benefits of cannabinoids. He has published over 150 scholarly articles and received both state and federal funding for his research and mentoring activities. He now focuses full-time on the Arkansas Clinic for Stress & Anxiety (www.arkansasclinic.org), which is his private practice offering outpatient psychotherapy to adults in Arkansas.
