ACADEMICS: TEACHING

I’ve had the privilege of working with some really smart students over the years. Many have inspired me to ask questions I would not otherwise have considered. Here you can see the range of courses I’ve taught and some of the students whose research projects I’ve guided. In 2018 I was honored to be named the National Communication Association’s MES Outstanding Mentor in Master’s Education. In 2019 I was honored to receive 2 awards from the Southern States Communication Association: the Michael M. Osborn Teacher-Scholar Award and the Donald Ragsdale Award for Mentoring.
