About the Cellulosic Thrust

Researchers in the cellulosic thrust seek to develop more effective methods to extract cellulose-based nanomaterials from the selected woody biomassand unique cellulose surfaces that can lead to new cellulose products for filtration, packaging and wound care applications using scalable, hierarchical cellulose self-assembly processes and scale these up into more complicated, controlled, and sustainable cellulose-based multifunctional surfaces.
