Research Thrusts

The CASE research focuses on discovery and application of novel multifunctional and tunable surfaces with mechanical, optical, electrical, magnetic, biological and filtering properties that have potential to impact manufacturing, aerospace and defense, agriculture, forestry, food packaging, oil and gas and healthcare industries. The focus on surface interactions also impacts the global challenges to reduce the usage of materials, natural resources, and energy consumption; improve manufacturing processes; and minimize the impact on environment.
